A FIRST CENTURY CHURCH

IN THE TWENTY FIRST CENTURY

With the Covid cases in West Michigan rapidly rising, the board has decided that it is in the best interest of our church family to return to online-only worship gatherings for at least the next two weeks.  We are also suspending in-person ministry activities at the church building.

This means that the worship gatherings for November 15 and 22 will be online only and can be seen on our Facebook Page:  https://www.facebook.com/thejourneymi or you can click on the link below.

Our Sunday services will be online each week.

Go to our Facebook page at 10:10AM on Sunday to watch the service.

ABOUT  THE JOURNEY

WE LOVE THE FACT THAT YOU'RE HERE, AND INTERESTED IN OUR CHURCH.  WE ARE A NEW CHURCH, FIGURING OUT WHAT IT MEANS TO FOLLOW GOD AND BE DISCIPLES.  WE HOPE THAT THIS WEBSITE SERVES AS TOOL TO POINT YOU TO GOD, AND THAT YOU EXPERIENCE HIS LOVE AND GRACE.

We aim to be a true community of people that care for each other and enfold others as we follow Jesus.  We want to celebrate what God is doing, connect in community, and contribute by offering our time, talent and treasure.

We believe that all of us are sinful people, in need of a savior.  God loved us so much that he sent Jesus Christ to save us and to restore a relationship with him.   We gather together under the authority of Jesus to learn and grow in faith, and we scatter to embody kingdom values, serving others and caring for creation in Jesus’ name.

SUNDAYS

@10:10AM

We meet on Sundays to celebrate what God is doing, in the world, in our community, and in our lives.
